1/4 c Shortening

3/4 c Sugar

2 lg Beaten Eggs

1 ds Vanilla

2 c Flour

1 ts Baking Soda

1 ts Salt

3 tb Sour Milk

1 c Mashed Bananas

1/2 c Nutmeats

Cream together the shortening and the sugar until fluffy. Combine the eggs, vanilla and sour milk with the shortening sugar mixture. Add the flour, baking soda and salt to the previous mixture. Bake in a 350oF oven for one hour. Test for doneness with a toothpick. From: Syd's Cookbook.
