Since opening for business in 2003, the Borgata has consistently ranked as the most popular – and the highest grossing – casino resort in Atlantic City. Beyond its world class casino and reasonably priced luxury hotel rooms, its spa has also been declared the best spa in the country for men. As is the case with many hotel casinos, the Borgata is themed, along the lines of Tuscan (northern Italian) village and as a full resort it features almost every conceivable luxury and amenity one could want while on holiday. As is the case with the other casino resorts, the Borgata is a fully self-contained entertainment complex with options designed to appeal to people of any and every taste.

Gaming at the Borgata

The enormous Borgata casino features more than four thousand slot machines as well as a wide range of table games. Although New Jersey has some state specific laws that make it different then Las Vegas, Nevada, most gamblers will find all the usual games one would expect to find in a top level American casino. Further the Borgata offers a number of variation on popular games, for example there is both American Blackjack and Spanish 21 and both normal baccarat as well as mini-baccarat. As is the case with most of the casino resorts in Atlantic City, the Borgata is a full resort which is more or less designed to present the visitor with everything they could possibly want on vacation, thereby encouraging guest to spend all – or at least most – of their money inside their facility. The Borgata hosts twelve separate restaurants, which go from upscale five-star dining (like Fornelletto for Italian food or Izakaya for Japanese) to inexpensive casual dining (like Roma for pizza or Ben & Jerry’s for ice cream). Spa Toccare, the European style spa at the Borgata is ones of its key attractions and has been ranked as one of the best spas in the United States.

Beyond the restaurants and spa, you will also find a full service salon, barber shop, swimming pools and outdoor gardens among many other amenities. The Borgata complex also includes a number of entertainment venues, such as the Music Box which features live music and a comedy club. The Event Center is a much larger entertainment venue that features national level acts, ranging from music to comedians to prize fights though these events usually cost extra and are not included with your stay. The Borgata is also home to nine different bars, lounges, and nightclubs meaning that there are plenty of nightlife options as well.
